Gone is every member of the original Legion of Boom, and a whole host of youngsters are fighting for the right to take over the spots that have been left. Richard Sherman is now a leader in the secondary for the rival San Francisco 49ers Ed Dickson Color Rush Jersey , Earl Thomas is sporting purple for the Baltimore Ravens, Kam Chancellor is retired, Brandon Browner is incarcerated and Jeremy Lane, DeShawn Shead and at a high level. However, is that what fans should expect? The original Legion of Boom took time to develop. Thomas and Chancellor stepped in and played right away as rookies, but struggled at times because performing in the NFL is difficult. The team will likely continue turning over the position in coming years, but expect some familiar faces to see the majority of the action until that process unfolds.Starter: Jimmy GrahamFor whatever disappointment the Packers felt with Jimmy Graham’s 2018 season, they felt adequately confident in his ability to bounce back within a new offense. Graham has never blocked well (or, at times, at all) and his speed has abandoned him as he approaches his 33rd birthday, but he remains an incredibly long target who knows how to work the seams and dominate near the goal line. That’s just over 4 yards more than his season long average of 48.6 yards per punt, and more than Andy Lee and Cameron Johnston’s average of 48.8, which currently leads the NFL. Dickson’s longest punt in November was a booming 68-yarder, and he pinned the opposition inside their 5-yard line five times.Dickson is the first Seahawk to win a player of the month award in 2018, and the first Seattle rookie to win the award since Tyler Lockett did so in 2015 as a returner.
