Before Carrie Underwood was an American Idol winner or country-singing megastar, she was just a girl who loved playing softball and basketball in Checotah, Oklahoma. Now known the world over, Underwood returned to her hometown recently to talk to three high school students about their lives and what sports mean to them.Underwood hung out with the trio and participated in their favorite sports while sharing the lessons sports taught her over the years.
