England duo Helen Housby and Ama Agbeze have helped to pick out players to watch during the Vitality Netball Superleague season. Weve reached round seven of the Superleague campaign and Hertfordshire Mavericks will share the spotlight with Surrey Storm in their London Live fixture this Saturday, with coverage starting at 6pm on Sky Sports 5.But which players should fans keep an eye out for over the coming weeks? Were asked leading figures in the league to pick out respected performers and upcoming talent... Helen Housby, England and Manchester Thunder. Helen Housby has selected one of the Thunders emerging players Im going to go for someone from my team - Gabby Marshall. I think not many people will know her yet, because shes still very young, and there have not been many opportunities to see her play.Shes with the U21s at the minute and shes got such a cool head. She plays wing defence and centre and if she does come on in bigger games, then you will see quite a lot from her.Ama Agbeze, England and Loughborough Lightning. Ama Agbeze picked out a rival player for Hertfordshire Mavericks I always talk about Sophie Carter to Jade Clarke and she thinks Im obsessed with her! I just think shes feisty and tenacious. She is hard-working, has good ball-handling skills. Hertfordshire Mavericks Sophie Carter challenges for the ball It all depends on how Sophie progresses in the domestic game, but I do think she definitely is one to watch in the future. She also has a good group of players to learn from at Hertfordshire Mavericks.Kate Lightfoot, Yorkshire Jets.Im going to go for Liana Leota of Manchester Thunder, just because I find it really exciting to watch her. Ive actually played in a random game against her and she threw a ball which completely dislocated one of my fingers. I had an eye out for her in that way! Kate Lightfoot had a painful previous encounter with Liana Leota I think shes absolutely fantastic to watch. Her skill, her decision making, and her ability to read the game. I think its exciting to have someone of her calibre in the Superleague. She brings her Silver Fern flair over here.Maggie Jackson, Hertfordshire Mavericks performance director and England selector. For me, Natalie Haythornthwaite is the one player that I would like to see coming through and really stamping her name on that goal attack bib for Manchester Thunder. Haythornthwaite caught the eye of the England selection panel I want to see her growing in confidence and increasing her shooting. That for me is a player to watch. What I like about Natalie, shes a real team player, great timing and to be given that opportunity will be phenomenal for her. There is no I in her at all, shes a pure team player.Watch this Saturdays London Live fixture as Surrey Storm face the Hertfordshire Mavericks, live on Sky Sports 5 from 5.30pm. TOKYO -- A top IOC official renewed his demand Thursday that Japanese organizers further reduce their $18 billion budget ceiling for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, saying the figure could scare off cities considering bids for future games.IOC vice president John Coates, who heads the coordination commission for the Tokyo Olympics, was referring to the announcement by local organizers this week of a 2 trillion yen ($18 billion) cap on the overall cost.Coates told the coordination meeting in Tokyo on Thursday that the International Olympic Committee has not accepted the figure. He said all cities seeking to host future games are watching Tokyo and officials should avoid making a wrong impression about what it costs to host the Olympics, according to Kyodo News.Coates said he expected significant further savings to be made.Japanese organizers have yet to compile a total cost estimate, though their first official budget is expected by the end of the year.Tokyos Olympic costs have soared amid Japans reconstruction from the earthquake and tsunami in 2011, the year Tokyo launched its bid for the games. The city secured the games in 2013.A Tokyo government panel has also accused local organizers of allowing big public works spending for the Olympics without a long-term vision for legacy use. The panel has said the cost of the Olympics could exceed $30 bbillion -- four times the initial estimate -- unless drastic cuts are made.ddddddddddddhe IOC also has come under pressure to reduce costs in order to lure cities to bid for future games. The $51 billion price tag associated with the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi led numerous cities to drop out of bidding for the 2022 and 2024 Olympics. The IOC is now encouraging cities to make maximum use of existing and temporary facilities.Tokyo Gov. Yuriko Koike has spearheaded the cost-cutting effort, proposing a review of the three costly venues.Koike agreed Tuesday to keep the rowing, canoe sprint and swimming venues at their planned sites in Tokyo, rather than moving them to existing venues outside the capital, while securing commitments for substantial cost reductions.A decision on a possible switch of the volleyball venue was delayed until late December.Yoshiro Mori, head of Tokyos Olympic organizing committee, said he wanted to see volleyball held in Tokyos Ariake Arena as planned, instead of Yokohama -- considered as an alternate option -- so the venue can serve as a long-term legacy.---Follow Mari Yamaguchi on Twitter at https://www.twitter.com/mariyamaguchiFind her work at http://bigstory.ap.org/content/mari-yamaguchi ' ' '
