BUDAPEST, Hungary -- A Belarusian weightlifter who was mysteriously withdrawn from the Rio de Janeiro Olympics has been suspended for alleged urine substitution in a doping sample. The International Weightlifting Federation says Stanislav Chadovich is provisionally suspended awaiting a ruling on allegations of using substitute urine to fool a drug test.He could be banned for four years, since athletes found tampering with their samples are usually punished as if they tested positive. While the details of Chadovichs case are unclear, previous cases have involved athletes using hidden tubes to fill their sample with clean urine.Chadovich is a former European championship silver medalist who was to compete in the mens 62-kilogram category at the Olympics and was considered a potential medal winner. However, he was removed from the Belarus team at short notice with no explanation. The IWF did not say whether the alleged offense occurred in Rio. A Belarus Olympic Committee spokeswoman said she did not have details of the case and referred questions to the countrys weightlifting federation, which could not be reached for comment. It comes as Belarus already faces a one-year ban from international weightlifting after several lifters failed retests of their doping samples from the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. The IWF also confirmed a provisional suspension for Polands former European silver medalist, Krzysztof Szramiak, who previously competed at the 2008 Olympics without winning a medal.Szramiaks positive test for the banned substance GHRP-6 had previously been announced when the head of the Polish weightlifting federation resigned this month over failed tests by leading competitors. Szramiak previously served a two-year ban and could be banned for life for a second offense.Taiwanese weightlifter Hsiao Ya-Fang was also suspended after testing positive for a banned steroid, the IWF said. BERLIN -- Marco Reus was sent off and 10-man Borussia Dortmund had to settle for 2-2 at Hoffenheim in a bruising Bundesliga match on Friday.Hoffenheim, the only remaining unbeaten side, climbed to third before the rest of the 15th round, while Dortmund moved to fifth, but could find itself 10 points behind leader Bayern Munich on Sunday. Its not for nothing that theyre unbeaten this season. With 10 men I can only compliment the team, Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke said.Hoffenheim got off to a great start when Mark Uth rounded Roman Weidenfeller in the Dortmund goal to open the scoring in the third minute.Mario Goetze equalized eight minutes later, firing inside the right post after a fine run from Ousmane Dembele, who eluded four Hoffenheim defenders with a touch of luck.Another touch helped Sandro Wagner restore Hoffenheims lead less than 10 minutes later, TV replays showing he gave Sven Bender a shove before he grazed the ball with the back of his head past the disorientated Weidenfeller.I didnt realize it at the time. Intuitive. But when I see it now, its a foul, yeah, Wagner acknowledged. The foul count increased with committed challenges flying in from both sidees.ddddddddddddeferee Benjamin Brand showed four yellow cards before sending Reus off with his second before the break. TV replays cast doubt on the decision as both he and Nadiem Amiri were fouling each other before the Hoffenheim player went to ground. Amiri rubbed salt in Dortmund wounds by trying to fire up the crowd as Reus was walking off.Two unbelievable decisions in the first half, Watzke complained. Unbelievable, incredible.Aubameyang equalized with a delicate chip over Oliver Baumann after being played through with a perfectly timed pass from Dembele. It was Aubameyangs 100th goal across all competitions for Dortmund. He nearly followed up with another two minutes later, while the irrepressible Dembele almost forced an own goal minutes after that.Hoffenheims numerical advantage appeared nullified by the visitors efforts, but the home side gradually managed to slow the game before Dembele was forced off on a stretcher with more than 20 minutes remaining.
